On March 5, 2023, in Selma, Alabama, 24-year-old Cameron James Struggs was fatally shot. Around 11:00 p.m., Selma police responded to reports of gunfire in the 100 block of Cummings Circle, where they found Struggs unresponsive with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
