In the summer of 2023, the life of a bright and happy 3-year-old Black male named Kayden Dmitri Goldman was tragically cut short in Birmingham, Alabama. On June 30, Kayden was at home when he found a loaded gun and accidentally shot himself. Emergency services rushed the young boy to a local children's hospital, but his injuries proved fatal. At the time of the incident, adults were present in the house, although Kayden was reportedly alone in a room when the tragedy occurred.
