Jason Hernandez, a Hispanic man from Las Vegas, was attacked on the night of September 15, 2021, inside his apartment at the Sonoma Hills Apartments on East Tropicana. Neighbors later recounted that the quiet of the evening was broken by the sudden presence of police and paramedics, who were called to the scene after he was discovered unconscious.
