James D. Stewart, a 42-year-old man from Oolitic, Indiana, was found shot dead in his camper on February 24, 2024. The Lawrence County Sheriff's Office discovered his body around 1 p.m. off Lafayette Avenue in Oolitic, near Salt Creek on the south edge of the town.
