In the early morning hours of a Tuesday in Las Vegas, the life of 38-year-old Brockiton Reed, an African-American male, was cut short by gunfire. His body was discovered on the morning of August 9, 2011, at an apartment complex located on the 4500 block of South Decatur Boulevard, near Harmon Avenue.
