In the summer of 1987, the life of Frank Richard Ringler, a 51-year-old Caucasian male, came to a tragic and violent end in Las Vegas, Nevada. Having recently returned to the city after spending time in both Florida and Barstow, California, he was looking after the home of an associate for the weekend at 6300 Casada Way. It was in the living room of this house that his body was discovered on June 8, 1987.
An investigation into his death revealed that Ringler had been brutally stabbed to death. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department's Homicide Section took on the case, but the circumstances surrounding his murder remained shrouded in mystery. Despite their efforts, investigators were unable to publicly identify any suspects in connection with the crime.
