John Donald Valin, a 46-year-old Caucasian male, was shot and killed on September 5, 1985, in Las Vegas, Nevada. On that evening, Valin and a female companion were seated in a 1983 Ford Ranger pickup truck parked behind the Bungalow Bar on Boulder Highway. An unknown assailant approached the vehicle and fired several shots through the rear window.
