In the early morning hours of September 21, 2014, the life of 25-year-old Launde White, an African-American male, was cut short in a backyard in northeast Las Vegas. The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 a.m. in the 3700 block of Kolanut Lane, near Lake Mead Boulevard and Pecos Road.
