On January 7, 2022, at approximately 11:10 a.m., a passerby discovered a burned body near the intersection of Slayden Avenue and Birmingport Road in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding officers from the Birmingham Police Department's West Precinct arrived at the 2800 block of Slayden Avenue and found the body burned beyond recognition. The Jefferson County Coroner's Office later identified the victim as 57-year-old William Kenneth Kennard of Bessemer, Alabama. An autopsy revealed that Kennard had su ...Read More
