On December 4, 2014, Anthony Larry Leak Jr., aged 37, was shot and killed at approximately 12:53 p.m. at the intersection of Anacostia Avenue and Ponds Street, NE, in Washington, D.C. The shooting incident left Anthony Leak critically injured, and despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter.
