On May 2, 2024, at approximately 3 a.m., Tuscaloosa Police Department officers responded to a reported traffic accident near the intersection of 15th Street and Interstate 359. Upon arrival, they discovered 28-year-old Brunesha Renee McIntosh deceased inside a vehicle; she had sustained a fatal gunshot wound.
