On August 6, 2024, 62-year-old Antionette Hawkins and her boyfriend, 63-year-old Mcran James Montgomery, were fatally shot in their Tuscaloosa, Alabama, residence. At approximately 10:20 p.m., a 911 call was made from their home on 25th Place in the Holt community, reporting the shootings. Upon arrival, officers found both victims deceased inside the house.
