In the heat of early July, tragedy struck the life of 34-year-old Dianisleidy Rodriguez Hernandez, a Cuban woman living in Birmingham, Alabama. On Wednesday, July 3rd, her life was cut short by an act of violence that left a community in mourning and her young daughter without a mother. She was found fatally shot in the 4200 block of 5th Avenue South in the Avondale community.
