On December 21, 2022, in Birmingham, Alabama, 12-year-old Audriana "Minnie" Pearson was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting while she slept in her home on 16th Avenue Northwest. At approximately 1:51 a.m., unknown assailants fired 17 bullets into the residence, one of which fatally struck Audriana. She was pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue.
