In the late morning of a summer day in Huntsville, Alabama, a verbal dispute escalated into a fatal act of violence that claimed the life of 49-year-old Kirk Michael Urban. On Sunday, August 4, 2024, in the 1200 block of Hobbs Island Road, Urban was involved in a heated argument with an unidentified man. The confrontation took a tragic turn when the other man produced a firearm and shot Urban in the abdomen.
