On November 17, 2024, at approximately 5 a.m., Huntsville Police Department (HPD) officers responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of Lakeview Drive in Huntsville, Alabama. Upon arrival, they discovered 35-year-old James Anthony Grays, known to friends and family as "Antman," suffering from a gunshot wound. Grays was pronounced dead at the scene.
