On April 18, 2022, Jesus Mejia Cruz, a 30-year-old resident of Citrus Heights, was tragically killed in a shooting incident near Fair Oaks Park in Fair Oaks, California. According to reports, Cruz was standing with a group of men in the park when an armed individual approached and shot him.
