Branden Newman, a 19-year-old African American male, was tragically shot to death on July 18, 2017, in Delray Beach, Florida. The incident occurred in front of St. John Primitive Baptist Church, located at 615 NW 1st Street. Branden, a former Atlantic High School student, was with two other men when the shooting took place. While Branden died at the scene, the other two men sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospitals for treatment.
