On June 21, 2023, 41-year-old John Greer was found deceased from a gunshot wound at his residence on Kenneth Avenue in Fair Oaks, California. The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene after receiving a report from one of Greer's roommates, who had gone to a hospital for an unrelated medical issue and informed authorities about the death.
