In the summer of 2024, a violent tragedy unfolded in Birmingham, Alabama, abruptly ending the life of 49-year-old Laquitta Charisse Dunn. On August 8th, Dunn was fatally shot in what has been described as a domestic shooting spree that claimed two lives and left two others injured. The incident that led to her death was part of a quadruple shooting that also resulted in the death of 76-year-old Anthony Jackson.
