In the late hours of a Thursday night in Birmingham, Alabama, a young mother's life was tragically cut short in a burst of violence that stemmed from a dispute she had little to do with. Rosetia Smith, a 23-year-old female, was fatally shot in the head on July 23, 2009, while sitting in her car with her three young children, who ranged in age from 7 months to 6 years old.
