A night of enjoyment in Birmingham, Alabama, turned into a tragedy that ended the life of 21-year-old Lykeria Taylor. In the early morning hours of Sunday, June 13, 2021, Taylor and her boyfriend had just left Club Euphoria on the city's west side. As they were driving near the intersection of Avenue V and Warrior Road, an unknown vehicle pulled up alongside theirs and an occupant opened fire, striking both Taylor and her boyfriend.
