On October 12, 2024, at approximately 10:50 a.m., Huntsville Police responded to a shooting in the 4000 block of Pulaski Pike. Upon arrival, officers discovered 32-year-old Jamie Dar'Quez Cawthorne deceased from gunshot wounds.
Within 24 hours, investigators identified 38-year-old Jerriance Dural Freeman as a suspect, believing the shooting resulted from an altercation between Freeman and Cawthorne. Agents with the U.S. Marshals apprehended Freeman in Colbert County. He was subsequentl ...Read More
