On August 29, 2023, at approximately 7 a.m., Huntsville Police Department officers responded to reports of an unresponsive individual in the parking lot of the 300 block of Quality Circle. Upon arrival, they discovered 23-year-old Devin Tyler McDonald, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigations revealed that McDonald had been the victim of a robbery and fatal shooting that occurred around 10:40 p.m. on August 28.
