In the early hours of a cold Wednesday morning in Huntsville, Alabama, on January 24, 2018, the life of 19-year-old Dimitrick Mims Jr. was tragically cut short. Around 2 a.m., Huntsville Police responded to a call of a shooting at 3015 Tucker Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered Mims suffering from a gunshot wound.
