On July 26, 2015, 18-year-old Cornelius Rayshard Morris was fatally shot in Huntsville, Alabama. The incident occurred early that morning as Morris rode in a car with several others after leaving a local strip club. Another passenger, 20-year-old Alexis Crawford, sustained injuries during the shooting. The group had just departed the club when the assailant opened fire on their vehicle.
