On July 20, 2024, at approximately 5:50 a.m., Huntsville Police Department (HPD) officers responded to a report of an unresponsive individual lying outside a residence in the 3200 block of Spool Lane. Upon arrival, they discovered 21-year-old Naji O'Neal Wiggins, who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.
