Demetrius Stevenson

Murdered

On May 26, 2016, Demetrius Stevenson, age 29, was fatally shot in Washington, D.C. The incident occurred at approximately 1:50 PM in the 2700 block of Langston Place, SE. Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived on the scene in response to reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, Stevenson was found shot in the chest, on the landing of an apartment building in the Woodland Terrace neighborhood. Despite rapid response, Stevenson was pronounced dead at the scene.
