On July 21, 2002, Charles Booker, age 29, was shot in the early hours of the morning in Washington, D.C. The incident took place at approximately 12:10 am in the 4300 block of Varnum Place, NE. He succumbed to his injuries later that day. The circumstances of his death remain unsolved, and the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) has been working to gather information that could lead to the identification and apprehension of the individuals responsible.
