In the early hours of a Wednesday in Washington, D.C., the life of a young man was tragically cut short. On July 21, 2021, gunfire erupted in the 3500 block of Jay Street, Northeast. When police responded to the sounds of gunshots at approximately 1:00 a.m., they soon learned that a male victim had been struck.
