In the early hours of May 1, 2015, the life of 21-year-old Gregory McBryde, a Black male, was tragically cut short in Northwest Washington, D.C. At approximately 12:52 a.m., officers from the Metropolitan Police Department responded to the sound of gunshots in the 1300 block of Harvard Street, NW. Upon arrival, they discovered McBryde suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
