On a cold winter's night in Washington, D.C., the life of 19-year-old Paris DeShawn “Paco” Brown was tragically cut short. On the evening of Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at approximately 10:35 p.m., the sound of gunfire echoed through the 2300 block of Skyland Place in Southeast D.C. When police arrived at the scene, they discovered Brown suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the efforts of emergency responders, the young man succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead.
