On January 21, 2021, Andrew Session, a 27-year-old resident of Southeast Washington, D.C., was fatally shot. The incident occurred in the 4400 block of 3rd Street, Southeast. At approximately 2:48 PM, officers from the Seventh District responded to reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, they found Session in the hallway of a residential building, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
