In the winter of 2021, a dispute between acquaintances culminated in the tragic death of 27-year-old Andrew Session in Washington, D.C. On the afternoon of Thursday, January 21, 2021, at approximately 2:48 p.m., the sounds of gunfire echoed through a residential building in the 4400 block of 3rd Street, Southeast. When officers from the Seventh District of the Metropolitan Police Department arrived at the scene, they discovered Session in a hallway, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
