On July 15, 2016, Jerimi Meade, aged 29, was found dead in the 400 block of Burbank Street, SE, Washington, D.C. A park employee, who was investigating illegal dumping, discovered Meade's body buried under leaves and covered by a wooden board in a wooded area at the back of the property.
