A 45-year-old man, James Edward White, lost his life in a shooting that unfolded in the parking lot of the Anchor Motel in Birmingham, Alabama, on the evening of August 12, 2024. The incident, which stemmed from a dispute, ultimately led to the arrest of a suspect from Hoover.
