A man is discovered shot; dies 5 days later
Birmingham police are conducting their second homicide investigation of the day after a man shot five days ago died today at UAB Hospital.
Karlos Bolden, 29, was shot about 11 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Ninth Avenue South, said Birmingham police spokesman Sgt. Johnny Williams Jr.
Officers were dispatched to the scene on a report someone had been wounded by gunfire. Bolden was sitting on the stairs when police and rescue workers arrived.
