In the early evening of a December day, the lives of two teenage boys were tragically cut short on a Birmingham street. Kendall Jamal Shack, a male of 18 years, was fatally shot on December 8, 2019. Around 5:20 p.m., Birmingham Police officers were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting.
Upon their arrival, they discovered both Kendall Jamal Shack and another 18-year-old, Ivey Carter Wilson III, lying unresponsive in the roadway. Both young men were suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite the immediate response from Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel, their injuries proved fatal, and they were pronounced deceased at the scene.
