On December 8, 2019, at approximately 5:20 p.m., 18-year-old Kendall Jamal Shack and his friend, 18-year-old Ivey Carter Wilson III, were found lying unresponsive in the roadway on Tucker Avenue in Birmingham, Alabama. Both had sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel.
