On April 6, 2021, at approximately 2:00 a.m., Birmingham Police Department officers on routine patrol heard multiple gunshots near the 2500 block of 13th Avenue North in the Druid Hills neighborhood. Upon arrival, they discovered 36-year-old Franardo Armondo Moore, a resident of Hoover, Alabama, lying unresponsive on the side of the road, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Moore deceased.
