Ronald Bennett Jr., an 18-year-old African American male and a senior at Huffman High School, was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama, on February 1, 2025. The incident occurred in the College Hills neighborhood on the 600 block of 8th Terrace West, just after midnight. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert and discovered a crashed vehicle in the front yard of a residence.
