On the evening of October 9, 2022, 49-year-old Taurus Lamond Hearns was fatally struck by a vehicle while riding his bicycle near Railroad Park in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 7:21 p.m. at the intersection of 1st Avenue South and 19th Street South.
