On a Thursday evening in Birmingham, Alabama, the life of 39-year-old Decarlos Jordan, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On January 26, 2017, in the Ensley neighborhood, Jordan was found lying on the ground, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. The shooting occurred around 8 p.m. in the 4900 block of Court I.
