Authorities have released the name of a man shot to death Thursday night in Ensley.
Birmingham police identified the victim as Decarlos Jordan. He was 39.
The shooting happened about 8 p.m. in the 4900 block of Court I. Birmingham police spokesman Lt. Sean Edwards said West Precinct officers responded to the scene on a report of a person shot.
