On November 21, 2024, at approximately 3:50 p.m., 33-year-old Justin Lee Henry Grant was fatally shot while seated in his vehicle at the Park at Wood Station apartment complex, located in the 6000 block of Wood Station Drive in Birmingham, Alabama. Responding to reports of gunfire, Birmingham Police Department officers arrived to find Grant unresponsive, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
