On the night of August 30, 2024, 20-year-old Ronald Demetrius Dixon Jr. was tragically killed in a shooting at a Citgo gas station located at 200 4th Avenue North in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident occurred around 11:40 p.m. when Dixon, along with 41-year-old Wesley Fowler Jr. and 25-year-old Christopher Dajuan Eddins, was targeted by gunfire.
