On December 16, 2023, at approximately 5:42 p.m., Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1200 block of Princeton Avenue Southwest. Upon arrival, they discovered 31-year-old Willie Henderson unresponsive inside a residence, suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue Services pronounced him deceased at the scene.
