In a heart-wrenching incident on June 30, 2023, a bright and energetic three-year-old Black/African American boy named Kayden Goldman died in his Birmingham, Alabama, home. The young male was momentarily left unsupervised when he discovered a loaded firearm. Tragically, Kayden accidentally shot himself.
