On the night of September 27, 2023, just before midnight, Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of two individuals with gunshot wounds at Fire Station 20, located at 4825 Avenue W. Upon arrival, they found two adult males suffering from gunshot injuries; one had life-threatening injuries, while the other sustained non-life-threatening wounds.
