Death by Force

On March 10, 2023, 41-year-old Bryan Gary Wood was fatally struck in a hit-and-run incident in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 6:30 a.m. as Wood was walking along the shoulder of West Boulevard near 87th Street North. A vehicle attempting to pass another in a curve veered onto the shoulder, hitting Wood before crashing into a nearby residence. The driver and a passenger fled the scene on foot, leaving Wood deceased at the site.
