On May 27, 2023, Glen Junior Morrow, a 37-year-old Birmingham resident, was fatally shot in the parking lot of an apartment complex on 78th Street South. Birmingham police responding to reports of a shooting found Morrow unresponsive with a gunshot wound. Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.
