On January 31, 2023, 57-year-old Robert Chandler was found deceased in his residence on the 4200 block of Fairmont Avenue in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 8:10 a.m., a concerned neighbor discovered Chandler's body and notified authorities. Upon arrival, officers observed that Chandler had sustained visible trauma. The Jefferson County Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that he had been shot.
