On the night of May 5, 2023, 44-year-old Adrian Dewayne Christian was fatally shot outside his residence in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 11:35 PM, officers from the North Precinct responded to reports of an armed individual in the 1400 block of 5th Street West. Upon arrival, they found Christian unresponsive in the roadway, suffering from a gunshot wound. Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel pronounced him deceased at the scene.
